Founded in 2000, Stellar Meetings & Events is a woman-owned small business providing event management services to businesses and individuals throughout the United States. The company is located in Kirkland, Washington - just outside of Seattle. Founder Julie Thomas brings over ten years of extensive experience in the planning and implementation of events and conferences within the high-tech and software industry, from both the vendor and corporate side. Prior to founding Stellar Meetings & Events, Julie was an Event Manager for Kindred Communications where she managed programs for companies like Cisco Systems, Inc. and Microsoft Corporation. Before joining Kindred Julie was with Opal Enterprises, Inc. where she was a Program Manager developing and managing sponsorship programs for multiple Microsoft events. Julie was also with Attachmate Corporation for 5 years where she was part of the Marketing Events Team and was responsible for management of tradeshow programs, domestic and international sales conferences and internal company programs and special events.
