Kindermusik® International is the world’s leading publisher of music and movement curricula for teachers and caregivers of children aged newborn to seven. Taught in private studios, early childhood centers, and public schools. Since 1978, our research-proven classroom enrichment program has united the lives of millions in over 70 countries through the universal language of music, advancing whole-child development and future school success. Our award-winning curricula blends the research and music education philosophies of Orff and Suzuki with the developmental research and pedagogical philosophies of Vygotsky, Piaget, and Montessori. From these scholars, we created a unique approach to early childhood education that empowers children to learn how they learn best. In fact, independent research proved preschoolers using our curriculum for just 30 minutes per week saw a 32% gain in early language and literacy skills. Founded as traditional mommy and me classes, our private Kindermusik studios have grown to more than 5,000 worldwide. Our music-and-movement activities are creatively designed to enhance cognitive, language, literacy, physical, creative, and social-emotional development in young learners. Plus, introduce musical concepts, genres, and styles building a lifelong appreciation for music. Music Together® is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for children birth through grade two and the grownups who love them. The Music Together curriculum, coauthored in 1987 by Kenneth K. Guilmartin (Founder/Director) and Rowan University Professor of Music Education Dr. Lili M. Levinowitz (Director of Research), is based on the recognition that all children are musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, move with accurate rhythm, and participate with confidence in the music of their culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning. Music Together offers programs for families, schools, at-risk populations, and children with special needs in over 2500 communities in forty countries around the world. The company is passionately committed to bringing children and their caregivers closer through shared music-making and helping people discover the joy---and the educational value---of early music experiences.
