Voice Up Information

"Voice Up" is a new non-profit initiative working to contribute to the effort of developing a free, fast, and accessible tool for COVID-19 detection. The project, led by distinguished doctors and researchers, is aimed at producing a large scale and free data set, which then will be applied to advance COVID-19 detection research. So far, we’ve been very lucky to have with us on board partners from leading universities in Israel and around the world, including Tel Aviv University, The Weizmann Institute, Stanford, Harvard, and MIT, all on a voluntary basis. By using a simple web and app-based collection tool, we are hoping to create a database of daily collected symptoms and physiological parameters such as voice recordings and optical measurement of heart rate (PPG), all to be provided voluntarily, anonymously and consensually for at least a week (a simple one-minute task). We believe that providing a fast, simple, and mass detection tool has a true potential in achieving early detection of COVID-19 and in turn to even reduce its infection rate.
