Vivekananda Kendra Information

Vivekananda Kendra, a spiritually oriented Service Mission, was established in the year 1972. Vivekananda Kendra is centered on the virtuous thought “Service to Man is Worship of God” and is guided by the righteous ideals “Renunciation and Service” to deliver the clarion call given by Swami Vivekananda for “Man Making – Nation Building”. Vivekanand Kendra is an Institutional Partner of the Civil 20 (C20) Engagement Group during India’s upcoming G20 Presidency. In connection with the activities of the Civil 20 Engagement Group during India’s G20 Presidency, Vivekanand Kendra is an Institutional Partner. Last five decades, it has been working through more than 1300 Branches and Activity Centres spread across the length and breadth of India to work with all strata of society in rebuilding the nation by undertaking various service activities in the areas of Education, Rural Development, Protection and Development of Natural Resources, Healthcare, Child Development, and Empowerment of Youth and Women.
