In 2005. our friendship and love of music lead us to the idea of founding our own choir. We wanted to do something new, different and unconventional, curious about finding out how the most popular songs would sound if they were performed by us. We were committed to keep the choir free of all musical instruments - all except for our own voices and beatboxing. We posted a "Du hast" (Rammstein) cover and expected absolutely nothing. But we were blown away when almost one million people watched our video in one week! That's how the story of Viva Vox, led by the conductor Jasmina Lorin, began. In 2011 we put on our first big concert in Belgrade. One year later, we had three concerts in a row in the same concert hall. We were invited to put on a full concert at the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York in January of 2013. We became the first choir from this part of Europe that had the privilege to perform there. The year ended with a concert in the Parliament of the People's Republic of China in Beijing. At the beginning of 2015 we recorded our first album and only a few months later, we performed in front of more than 10.000 people in the Belgrade Arena. In the meantime, we were also performing in all of the biggest festivals in the region, including one of the best European music festivals - EXIT. We created an image of an a cappella choir with a "bold" repertoire, doing covers not only of pop and rock music, but heavy metal and industrial songs, introducing dubstep and electronic sounds to our a cappella singing. In 2016, we got the invitation from ORF, the Austrian public service broadcaster, to participate in their international choir competition - Die große Chance der Chöre. We made it to the semi-finals and took part in the making of a Christmas album produced by Sony. At the beginning of 2017, we added another genre to our repertoire - film music and musicals. As of the year 2018. Viva Vox has held more than 250 concerts all over the world.
