VitroScreen Information

VitroScreen is a research laboratory part of Senza Gen Group. It provides predictive, biologically relevant and reproducible pre-clinical testing strategy for life sciences. VitroScreen has been one of the key player in the introduction and acceptance of in vitro pre-clinical studies and continues to develop and validate new in vitro models with the aim to improve the wellbeing of our community and make the environment we live in a safer and better place. VitroScreen is committed to Alternatives and it is member of EU NETVAL laboratories network since 2014. VitroScreen has so far developed 500+ unique experimental models for efficacy testing: the protocols are customized to assess either ingredients or products for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, medical devices and nutritional industries. Today, VitroScreen is organized in 4 different Business Units: 1. The GLP certified Laboratory to perform in vitro Toxicology, Biocompatibility and ADME Studies in compliance with GLP principles; 2. Pre-Clinical Expertise Unit 3. The In Vitro Innovation Center operating as an outsourcing unit for R&D projects - to support personalized care and medicine using standard and customized spheroids and organoids (VitroScreen ORA® - Organoids Research Applications), - to address bacteria’s interactions with living tissues (Microbiome Research Unit), - to provide advanced and high content histo-morphology services with our new platform based on LED technology. 4. The In Vitro Consultancy Unit providing Customers with high level in vitro Testing Strategies for Hazard and Risk Assessment, coupled with an independent pharmaco-toxicological expert.
