VitalNext BV a recently founded company forming a bridge between life sciences and consumer health products today announced that it has launched its first product on the Dutch market. The product, PromannaTM, is a nutritional supplement in the field of 'Healthy Ageing'. It is distributed via Nutramin B.V. in The Netherlands. The product was presented at the conference 'From cure to care', on Saturday, 28th september, in The Netherlands to an audience of health care professionals. PromannaTM is based on extensive research in the area of DNA-damage and DNA-repair. DNA contains the genetic information of our body. Scientific research has shown that DNA is continously being damaged both by external sources as well as by our own metabolism. Damage that goes unrepaired contributes to the ageing of the organs and tissues of our body. PromannaTM contains ingredients that were found to protect DNA from such damage. Thus, the product fits well in a dietary pattern associated with healthy ageing and for people at risk of increased DNA-damage. The supplement is provided as a powder which easily dissolves in water, juice, tea etc. and should be taken twice daily.
