VITA, a non-profit standards organization, champions the use of open system architecture (OSA) worldwide through its membership of suppliers and end-users who share a common interest in critical and intelligent embedded systems. Company Overview Since 1982, VITA has united manufacturers and end-users in the global acceptance and implementation of open technology standards to develop real-time, modular, embedded computing systems. With its rich heritage and bright future, VITA is an indispensable force in what are termed Critical and Intelligent Embedded Systems, those systems that must be “able” in many dimensions: dependable, supportable, configurable, reliable, serviceable.
