How wonderful to have a library full of art books. Hope it will be well used and will inspire many future artists, dealers, curators and collectors. As we both have published books, some of which are in the Visual Art Library, we also have an archive of artist made books in small editions published by Money For Food press (co-founded by Geoffrey Hendricks and the late Brian Buczak) and the unique hand made books of Andreas Senser that Sur inherited as executor of the Andreas Senser estate. The Visual Art Library as a comfortable home to deposit some of our library offers some solace. Theres no other place we can think of that is as broad and in-depth as its collection provides. Sur Rodney Sur and Geoffrey Hendricks, The Visual Art Library has nourished me as an artist for decades. A cornucopia treasure trove to warm the cockles of my heart. Thank you George Waterman for your support going back to the 70s. This library will continue to enlighten all who love the visual arts. Congratulations. I am not a horder, but on the other hand I hate to throw out interesting and possibly historical announcements of exhibitions that I receive in the mail. So what a delight to learn that George was creating a library which includes that material. Subscribe to our email list to stay informed!
