Vistamedi Information

Ltd. Vistamedi is an organisation operating in the healthcare industry and participating in various health projects in Georgia since 2008. Our main focus has been providing clinical laboratory diagnostic services – we have been performing clinical laboratory tests since 2009. Currently, we offer more than 140 clinical laboratory tests in our laboratory, including various clinical biochemistry tests, immunoassays and molecular diagnostic tests. The clinical laboratory services offered by Vistamedi are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our organisation operates two branches in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia. In addition to serving the patients in our branch offices, we also have an on-call service, which is available 24/7, including holidays. Over the years, Vistamedi has participated in a number of research projects in Georgia, collaborating with other medical organisations operating in the country. We constantly monitor the quality of our laboratory services, and Vistamedi participates in a number of international external quality programmes. For several years, the external quality control services for our laboratory department have been provided by RfB (Referenzinstitut für Bioanalytik) – the Reference Institute for Bioanalytics based in Germany, which is accredited by the DakkS (German accreditation body). Since 2014, the quality of our laboratory testing has been evaluated by RIQAS (Randox International Quality Assessment Scheme) as well and in 2016, HumEQAS (HUMAN External Quality Assessment) was also added to the list of organisations that externally assess the quality of our performance. Over the years, we have received certificates for various laboratory tests from RfB, RIQAS and HumEQAS. Since 2017, Vistamedi has been enrolled in VITAL-EQA – the external quality control programme provided by the US CDC (Centres for Disease Control and Prevention). Vistamedi staff is focused on constant growth and development.
