Tourism Northern Ireland (Tourism NI) is responsible for the development of tourism and the marketing of Northern Ireland as a tourist destination to domestic tourists (from within Northern Ireland) and visitors coming to Northern Ireland from the Republic of Ireland.
Tourism NI is a non-departmental public body of the Department for the Economy.
We work closely with other tourism bodies to develop the Northern Ireland tourism industry .
These bodies include Tourism Ireland, which is responsible for marketing Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to Great Britain and overseas markets; and Visit Britain, which promotes the UK at an international level.

Belfast International Airport is Northern Ireland’s principal airport, with around five million passengers each year travelling to over 70 domestic and international destinations. Customer airlines include easyJet, Jet2.com, Ryanair, Norwegian, Wizz Air, Virgin Atlantic, Thomas Cook and Thomson. The airport also facilitates a number of Charter Flights.
Belfast International Airport is the second largest employment site in Northern Ireland (4500 employees), with over 200 businesses operating on site. Annually, 50% of Northern Ireland's business passengers travel via Belfast International. The airport operates four car parks on site, which combined have space for over 8000 vehicles.
