Visible is a new clothing label where everything behind the clothes is made visible - no nakedness - just visibility of costs, people and impact so you can know everyone is being treated fairly. We have chosen to be visible about the people, costs, and impact, as without complete visibility it is difficult for you - the customer - to decide whether or not the clothing sector is being responsible at each stage of the production process. It's too easy for us all to ignore the rights of the individuals who made our clothes because we don't know who they are. With even the smallest detail about the person who makes the clothing we wear, our mind-set can begin to change, and that person can begin to transition from an invisible cog in the machine to an actual, visible human deserving of our respect, dignity, and fair treatment. Our desire is to bring a variety of clothing products to market so that people can fill their wardrobes with clothes that they know have been made fairly.
