Virtual Systems Engineering (VSE) responds to the return of manufacturing to the United States, and to the need for reduced testing and manufacturing costs, especially with circuit boards, which exist in nearly every product that uses electricity, from cell phones to missiles. With an initial focus on defense and power industries, VSE provides services and customized software in the form of PREVIEW which is used for visualization, simulation, and analysis of circuit boards and electromechanical products. According to current R&D industry partners, PREVIEW is a game-changer for advanced manufacturing technology. VSE will provide 1) custom software development targeting specific customer needs/problems, 2) services in the form of in-house case studies, and 3) license sales, maintenance, training, and support. In summary, the PREVIEW software system will make design engineers work more intuitive with enhanced ECAD/MCAD features than other closed software applications. PREVIEW Viewer is VSE’s primary product which can be easily downloaded and installed will be the conduit for more robust custom enterprise software development which will be integrated into cloud database applications for component libraries. PREVIEW enhances component visualization and data coordination across the enterprise regardless of size. Modern engineering firms (both mechanical and electrical) and OEM’s utilize multiple applications for design and verification for complex electromechanical systems. PREVIEW is interoperable with leading industry applications and will reduce design cycle times and improve overall workflow within companies.
