Our courses are video based, with each course containing videos, practical exercises, opening workspaces and model code. We aim to make the learning process as easy as possible – students can follow along with the trainer re-creating everything that the trainer does. This is the best way to learn – by doing. Our approach is for the student to imagine that the trainer is sat next to them, talking to them and sharing their screen. All of our courses require the student to build fully functioning, production quality code. The courses are designed to be used as an alternative to live training, where you study each topic in turn. However, for students who might prefer to dip in to relevant topics, this is supported too. Our trainers are all experienced software developers and the people behind the All Things Java podcast. They understand what students need to learn to be productive in the workplace and focus on practical topics rather than academic theory.
