ViroXis is a bio-pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative, proprietary, botanical pharmaceuticals derived from Sandalwood oil. The hardwood oils of the East Indian and West Australian sandalwood trees, S. album and S. spicatum, (EISO) have a long and extensive history of traditional use for a variety of conditions, including the successful treatment of various skin disorders, including skin viral infections. Other historical treatments include the oral treatment of UTIs and STDs. Our first product is a novel botanical ointment containing a "defined mixture" derived from the oil of Santalum album, the East Indian Sandalwood tree, to treat HPV infections of the skin (common skin warts).
