The association, formerly known as VSO, was founded in 1977 â" among other things to unite the manufacturers and to protect the Danish facade architecture. The members of VinduesIndustrien are all members of Danish Window Certification who control that the products are being manufactured according to the requirements of the Technical Requirements. All members give a 5 year warranty and are furthermore member of a warranty scheme which ensures the consumer in case a manufacturer does not live up to his warranty duties. Danish windows and doors are an export success as well. The beautiful finish and high quality is well-known abroad. Approximately 18% of the manufacturere™s total revenue is due to export.
