vimbal puts the brain in a state to learn, then delivers the material. Most learning technology competes for attention. vimbal removes the competition. Inside a headset, an immersive environment calms the brain's stress centre within minutes. Then vimbal's patent-filed cognitive engine synchronises sound, colour, rhythmic motion and pace around the reader, so the words go in and stay. People read the documents they already have, at speeds most have never read at before, and remember more of them. Measured on site with an Australian mining workforce, on their own safety inductions, average test scores rose from a bare credit to a distinction. Half the group scored below a credit on paper. In vimbal, none did, and every participant read faster. vimbal runs today on Meta Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro and the web. Our first paying customers are NDIS participants using vimbal at home for mental health, neurodivergence and learning support, with a headset and support included. Learning-platform integrations, workplace and safety training, education and defence readiness follow on the same engine. The company was founded by Joshua Arnall, a former mining electrician who built the first version of this environment to get himself through law school after an injury ended his trade. In 2025, within three months of arriving in California, vimbal was named one of CONNECT's Class of 2025 Cool Companies, the top 30 startups in Southern California.
