Village Heartbeat Information

Village Heartbeat® is an organization dedicated to building and educating a rhythmic community. The organization facilitates classes in African drumming, dancing, and TaKeTiNa, and is the home of Whole Person Drumming®. Classes use adapted traditional music of the African Diaspora, as well as modern trance grooves. Village Heartbeat has hosted community drumming and dance events, and offers drum and rhythmic movement classes, retreats, and TaKeTiNa workshops lead by Zorina Wolf in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, Northwest, Dallas and Austin, Salt Lake City, Hawaii, Baltimore, Northwest Florida, British Columbia, San Miguel de Allende in Mexico,and Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. Village Heartbeat is a producer of TaKeTiNa workshops, training, and retreats in the United States.
