All services at Village Autism Center are based in the science of behavior analysis nestled within a developmental framework. To create a positive therapeutic environment, they focus on building a relationship with each child they work with. Creating a solid foundation of trust and sense of fun is their initial goal with all children. Although they are a comprehensive treatment provider, their focus and expertise is in the area of skill acquisition or skill building. That means they work on teaching each child new skills, usually related to the core deficits of autism: social interaction and communication. They work with children age 18 months to 18 years old.
