Viking Polymers, LLC Information

Viking Polymers develops and produces high quality thermoplastic compounds for customers who value innovative solutions and responsiveness. Viking Polymers was founded in 1994 as a North Carolina based Limited Liability Company (LLC). It purchased the assets of an existing compounding company with over 30 years of vinyl experience. In its first year of operations, the company produced less than 1 million pounds of compound. Since that time, Viking Polymers has experienced double digit sales growth every year and now boosts compounding capacity in excess of 50 million pounds. In late 1998, the company acquired 16 acres of land in Jamestown, NC and began construction on a new state of the art compounding facility. The original 39,000 square foot plant was completed in November 1999. During 2003, Viking Polymers added 40,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space, expanding the total plant size to 79,000 square feet.
