Vignaquaranti is a boutique winery rooted in the enchanting hills of Quaranti, at the southern tip of Monferrato Astigiano, bordering the Langhe. It is here, among the famed *“terre bianche”* — calcareous and sandy-loam soils — that our vineyards thrive, gifting our wines with extraordinary character and offering visitors a landscape of timeless beauty. Founded in 2009 by Pietro Cioli together with Francesco Baghi, Guido Natale, and guided by the expertise of oenologist Guido Beltrami, Vignaquaranti was born from friendship and a profound respect for the land. This union blends the strength of the territory with scientific know-how and a Milanese cultural outlook that values wine as an Italian excellence, to be refined through experience and continuous research. On our five hectares in Castelletto Molina, we cultivate historic southeast-facing vineyards that yield exceptional reds: * Rablé, Barbera DOCG * Thelem, Barbera Superiore DOCG * Nemo, Monferrato Rosso DOC from Nebbiolo * Meraki, Monferrato Rosso DOC from Pinot Noir Our whites, too, honor tradition and local varietals: * Rebèl, Arneis DOC * Livé, Nascetta DOC Our philosophy embraces low yields per hectare, manual harvesting, careful grape selection, and vinification with minimal sulphites, favoring natural macerations and controlled temperatures to preserve the unique potential of each varietal. Deeply committed to sustainability, we embarked in 2022 on the path to organic cultivation, with certification expected by 2025. This is a natural evolution of our long-standing choices to minimize chemical inputs and embrace respectful, non-invasive processes. Above all, Vignaquaranti seeks to preserve the profound cultural meanings that wine has always embodied: friendship, authentic encounters, the joy of living & care for well-made things
