The first race promoted by Victory Sports was an AMA Pro-AM Supercross event at the Kingsport Motor Speedway in August of 1986 that was won by Tommy Watts. The AMA UNITED STATES MEGA SERIES was started in 1988 with 2 tracks in Northeast Tennessee. It has now grown to tracks in TN, VA, NC, SC, AL, Ga, & KY. The 1999 edition of the series averaged 620 RIDERS PER EVENT. The series pays $345,175.00 in factory contingencies from Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda. Victory Sports acquired the CAROLINA ULTRA SERIES from Al Lane in the winter of 1995 and took over operation of that series in March of 1996. This series now averages over 500 RIDERS PER EVENT. This series pays $271,700.00 in factory contingencies from Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, & Suzuki. Victory Sports promotes an AMA Sanctioned INDOOR MOTOCROSS (ArenaCross) Series that runs November thru February at locations in Tennessee, and North Carolina. Victory Sports promotes over 50 racing events each year. Arenacross, Supercross, Motocross, Hare Scrambles, ATV Racing, and 4x4 Truck Mud Racing. The Victory Sports office is located in Northeast Tennessee at the town of Blountville.
