Vibra Hospital of Charleston Information

Vibra Hospital of Charleston is a specialty acute care hospital located in the old East Cooper Hospital building off Highway 17 in Mt. Pleasant. We are a 59-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC) that cares for patients with complex diagnoses such as ventilator weaning, severe wound care, IV antibiotics and multiple complex issues. We receive most of our patients from physicians and case managers working within area hospitals. We are also a 35-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU) that is a short-term skilled facility specializing in patient rehabilitation and care for those not quite ready to return to their long-term home environments. Our length of stay for most patients averages 25-30 days.
