Via Design helps organisations design the conditions for business-critical change — so people can work well together, take shared responsibility and create value for those the organisation exists to serve. Change can be designed. We work with leaders and organisations facing complex change: new strategies that need to become everyday practice, performance cultures that require new behaviours, cross-functional collaboration that must work under pressure, and transformations where the answer cannot simply be rolled out. Our work combines organisational design, design thinking, cultural analysis and transformational leadership. We help clients shape a movement worth joining, build the capacity to carry it, and embed what works in the operating system of the organisation: meetings, principles, governance, roles, rituals, artefacts and decision-making. We typically work as temporary partners inside the machine room of change — close enough to understand the terrain, independent enough to ask the difficult questions, and practical enough to turn insight into action. Founded in Copenhagen in 2001 by Ida Vesterdal and Sune Kjems, Via Design has worked for more than two decades with organisations that want change to become something people can practise, not just something leaders can present.
