Kunstinitiatief VHDG wil een impuls geven aan de beeldende kunst in Friesland en tegelijkertijd de stad Leeuwarden als podium voor lokale, nationale en buitenlandse kunstenaars op de kaart zetten. Dit willen we bereiken door regelmatig beeldende kunstprojecten te organiseren met een hoog artistiek niveau. Daarnaast hebben wij de ambitie onze projecten zodanig op te zetten dat ze een divers en breed publiek aanspreken met inhoudelijk interessante nieuwe vormen van hedendaagse kunst.
