Veterans Transition Support (VTS) closes the gap between military service and civilian life by helping veterans, active-duty service members, and military spouses build the skills, confidence, and career direction needed for a successful transition. Through our Military Transition Training Program, VTS provides free career-focused training, certifications, workshops, resources, and one-on-one mentoring designed to remove barriers to employment and prepare participants for civilian career success. Our work focuses on four critical areas of transition: Career Development — Helping participants identify career paths, strengthen resumes, prepare for interviews, and translate military experience into civilian workforce opportunities. Cultural Adaptation — Supporting the transition from military culture to civilian workplace expectations, communication styles, and professional environments. Veterans Benefits Education — Providing education and guidance to help veterans better understand available benefits, resources, and support systems. Education Planning — Helping participants explore training, certifications, college options, and professional development pathways that support long-term career growth. VTS offers training and education in OSHA safety, Lean continuous improvement, veterans benefits, career management, workforce readiness, and military-to-civilian transition. Our programs help participants fill skill gaps, strengthen their resumes, and earn credentials that can support employment in safety, operations, logistics, construction, manufacturing, project support, and other high-demand industries. Founded in 2014, Veterans Transition Support is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization committed to ensuring that those who served have access to practical tools, professional guidance, and career-building opportunities as they move into the civilian workforce.
