Our Hospital supports Referral, overnight hospitalisation and OOH support for 13 Vets4Pets practices (as well as many Animal Charities) in the area, resulting in busy OOH night shifts, a large and interesting case-load for both the day and night clinical teams. With almost 60% of our pets Insured and/or on Healthcare Plans, we have a really engaged client-base who expect everything to be worked up thoroughly and extensively, be it a vomiting cat or itchy-eared dog. If you're into jabbing animals with steroids and antibiotics and 'see how it gets on', this isn't the practice for you! Team communication, admin support and in-house training CPD are at the forefront of what we do, reflected in the fact that we have 66 colleagues currently in our practice supporting 11 vets. That ratio of both clinical to administrative/finance support is also reflected in our 2:1 qualified RVN to vet working ratio at any one shift.
