Veterans Title was founded in 2004 by Larry Johnson, a retired Army Officer and Attorney at Law, and Kris Riley, wife of a retired Army Warrant Officer and Title Insurance Agent to provide quality Real Estate Settlement Services and Title Insurance to customers in the Northern Virginia Area at reasonable prices and discounted services to veterans of military service and their families. Larry Johnson is President of Veterans Title and an Attorney at Law licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland. He has practiced law in Northern Virginia since 1993, primarily in the areas of real estate, wills, trusts, and estates. He is a licensed title insurance agent and acts as the settlement officer for most of the closings that Veterans Title schedules in the office. Courtney Lunn is Secretary of Veterans Title, the office manager, and a licensed title agent. She has been with the law firm of Larry Johnson since 2001 and with Veterans Title since it's inception in 2004 and is knowledgeable in the many facets of real estate settlements and title insurance. Kelly Humbertson is Vice President of Veterans Title and manages the day to day operations of the title Insurance agency, to include title commitments, settlement processing, and title insurance policies. She is a licensed title insurance agent and has been with Veterans title since 2006. Sue Spence has over 25 years of experience in the legal profession as a legal assistant and is knowledgeable in many matters concerning the sale and refinance of real estate. She is a qualified notary public and performs in-home real estate settlements for people who are unable or cannot schedule conventional in office settlements because of time constraints or other reasons. Veterans Title customers have come primarily from word of mouth referrals from current and former clients and we strive to build reputable long-term relationships with all our clients because of that fact.
