Skanos Pty Ltd began its life 25 Years ago with Maurice Kemp CFSP. Maurice started his career as a chef and branched off as a product development for a major food manufacturer, developing recipes that are still in use today. He then joined one of the worlds most successful international Food Equipment Manufacturers as a Australian National Product Manager. Maurice decided in 1991 branch out to establish his own business. Working through a range of exclusive agencies from Scandinavia, operating under the banner of Maurice Kemp and Associates and then later as MKA Catering Equipment Systems, the company became known as "the Scandinavian Connection".
