Verseon is a clinical stage company that develops novel therapeutics using proprietary, physics-driven drug discovery platform technology. Verseon engineers drug candidates atom by atom. Using scientific advancements in physics- and chemistry-based modeling developed in-house, Verseon’s goal is to address the productivity rut the pharmaceutical industry faces in finding novel molecular entities that do not resemble existing drugs or drug-like small molecules. Verseon innovates beyond the bounds of the known and design, test, and synthesize never-before-seen molecules that may soon become life-changing drugs. The company began its mission in 2002 and subsequently built a proprietary platform that systematically creates multiple viable drug candidates for every program the company undertakes. The company is currently making great strides in stroke and heart attack prevention, diabetic vision loss, oncology, and metabolic disorders with 16 drug candidates in active development, one of which is completing Phase 1 clinical trials.
