Veritas Concept Engineering (VCE) provides upfront industrial engineering for new and modified facilities. We plan how a facility will actually operate before the building is designed, not built around later. Most facility projects start with architecture. A building gets designed, then equipment and process teams try to make their operations fit inside it. That order causes rework, wasted space, and layouts that never quite work the way they were supposed to. VCE works the other way. We work out how material, people, and product actually need to move through a facility first, then hand that plan to architects and engineers to design around. Our work includes concept block layouts with relationship and flow analysis, detailed 2D and 3D layouts covering equipment and utilities, site master planning, space utilization and capacity studies, and bottleneck resolution for existing operations. Every deliverable is built to hand off cleanly to architectural and MEP teams, so the people building the facility are working from a plan that already accounts for how it needs to run. Founder Robin Owens has spent his career in industrial engineering and facility planning, and recently published "Measuring What Matters" in ISE Magazine on the gap between what facility announcements measure and how space actually gets used. That gap is exactly what VCE exists to close. VCE works with manufacturers, healthcare systems, data center operators, and any organization investing in a new or modified facility who wants the operational plan done before construction starts, not figured out afterward. Based in the Greater Fort Collins Area, Colorado. Available remote.
