FDM varetager bilisternes interesse og arbejder for, at det er en positiv oplevelse at være bilist. Vores arbejde tager udgangspunkt i værdierne viden, troværdighed, aktiv holdning og dynamik. Vi er 300 medarbejdere fordelt på 30 adresser i hele landet. Hovedkontoret er placeret i Lyngby. FDM er med 269.000 husstande som medlemmer Danmarks største interesse- og forbrugerorganisation. FDM yder juridisk og teknisk bistand i sager omkring biler og trafik og varetager bilisternes interesse i trafik- og forbrugerpolitiske spørgsmål. FDM arbejder for at fremme trafiksikkerheden og en del af dette arbejde foregår på internationalt plan i tæt samarbejde med de øvrige landes bilklubber.
