VeriHope Information

VeriHope began with a simple observation: the West Island does not lack compassion, expertise or community spirit. It lacks a clear and engaging way to connect people with the organizations already doing the work. Important information is often spread across individual websites, social media pages, public databases and community directories. Some organizations are easy to find. Others, especially smaller organizations, remain largely invisible outside their immediate networks. VeriHope was created to close that gap. We research and organize information about local charities and community organizations, present it in clear and approachable profiles, and help people move from interest to action. Our directory helps people discover local organizations, understand their missions and programs, and take a meaningful next step. That may mean requesting support, volunteering, attending a program, forming a partnership or making a donation directly to the organization. At the same time, VeriHope helps community organizations become more visible to the residents, volunteers, donors and partners who care about their work.
