Ventisqueros is a part of Chile’s Patagonia, where some of the planet’s most important and pure water reserves are located. Our hatcheries, salmon farms and processing plants are strategically located to assure the quality of our harvests. The value of our product is directly related to where we are located - salmon hatcheries fed by pristine water coming from the Andes mountain range. Since our principal processing plant is located 30 minutes from Puerto Montt, we can harvest our fish live, assuring the freshness of our products. Our smoking plant is 100 kms south of Puerto Montt in Rio Negro, Hornopirén. Here we make smoked products, adding great value in line with our customer and market place demands.
