"VELA was established in 2009 with the daring idea to create runway inspired scarves that would revolutionize hijab. I was 18 years old when my sister and I founded VELA during a time when modest in fashion was not being me. Today, we create pieces to elevate women without compromising modest for style. Everything is designer by my creative team and I. Our fabrics are custom woven and our colors are dyed in-house.
