VEI Information

VEI - Dutch Water Operators Providing universal access to potable water positively boosts the economic and social development of a region. It permanently creates new opportunities for the population. VEI expands the capabilities of drinking water companies and - in cooperation with the water company and (inter)national partners - help them professionalize their operations. VEI assigns employees from its parent companies and partner companies to the local drinking water businesses. They transfer expertise, provide advice, share best practices and together with local water companies set up and run their operations in a business-like and efficient manner. The Dutch drinking water companies Vitens and Evides Waterbedrijf are the initiators behind VEI. WML, Watercompany Groningen, Brabant Water, WLN and PWN have joined VEI as partners. Through donor support, VEI is able to supplement the financial contribution they make.
