VEGED CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to teaching underserved communities how to cook healthy meals on a budget. We work with individuals with learning difficulties, ex-offenders, rough sleepers and young people preparing for independent living, helping them all build confidence and life skills through practical in-person cooking sessions. Our workshops are hands-on, inclusive and community-focused. Delivered in partnership with schools, social enterprises and health organisations, each session promotes seasonal, plant-based cooking while encouraging social connection and wellbeing. We currently serve the Cheshire and Merseyside region, with plans to expand into North Wales and South Manchester. Our partners include Cheshire & Merseyside Cancer Alliance, Petty Pool College, Youth Federation, Radiate Arts, and Tomorrow's Women. What We Offer: 6 session cooking programs tailored to diverse needs One-off community workshops Teaching opportunities for skilled local cooks Collaboration with councils, care providers, and social impact groups Join us on our mission to build healthier communities—one meal at a time.
