Vector GFX was founded by a team of industry veterans who believe that professional-grade technical illustration should be accessible, efficient, and uncompromisingly precise. Based in Carver, Massachusetts, our mission is to provide the engineering, legal, architectural, and manufacturing sectors with the specialized tools they need to communicate complex ideas with mathematical exactness. In late 2025, Vector GFX Inc. acquired the Canvas X Draw product line from Canvas GFX, Inc. This acquisition allowed us to breathe new life into an industry-standard platform, specifically focusing on the needs of the modern professional. Led by Chairman Gary Griffiths and co-founders Matt Griffiths and Becky Darsch, our team brings decades of operational expertise to the technical drafting landscape. We recognized a critical gap in the market: while the world moved toward heavy, expensive 3D CAD suites, technical illustrators were left without a high-performance, native solution for 2D precision—especially on macOS. By launching the first Universal/Native canvasxdraw for Mac, we’ve ensured that professionals can leverage M-series architecture for 0.035-micron accuracy without the bloat of traditional engineering software. And that’s not all – we will continue to focus on our canvasxdraw family of products including our windows product and our GEO product.
