The Venture Capital Academy (VCA) is USC's premier venture capital organization, dedicated to immersing USC's brightest students in the practice of venture capital and entrepreneurship. Members work directly with leading VC firms, from sourcing startups to diving deep into new markets, developing a thesis on the future of our world through direct engagement with the people building it. Alongside this hands on work, we host inspiring guest speakers and provide resources for those pursuing careers in the space. Each semester culminates in a Bay Area trek, giving members in person exposure to leading early stage investors, including past engagement with firms such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Andreessen Horowitz, Pear VC, and more.
