VBIS provides an asset classification structure with unique alphabetic tags to allow asset data structuring & identification as well as a method that allows interoperability between applications to search and display asset data. VBIS is aligned with VDAS, ISO55000 and supports the data requirements to meet the obligations of the AMAF.
