Valstar - Milano 1911 is specialized in menswear raincoats and jackets in fabrics or leather worldwide. The Brand was born in England but moved its production to Milan in 1911. Nowadays is synonymous of both English tradition and Italian artisan workmanship. Valstar production is 100% Made in Italy, it reflects a strong Italian tradition with special attention to high quality fabrics and yarns and with specific care to detail and a contemporary fit. The Company continue to reinvent models mixing waterproof and breathable fabrics with more technical elements and leather, working closely with fabric companies of the Biella district and invests jointly in researching and developing new materials. In 1935 Valstar gave birth to one of its future bestseller: the Valstarino, “the first, the original, the authentic” Valstarino is a very simple yet very high quality and extremely versatile jacket, easily adapted to different materials. Also known as the Valstar Blouson, the leather version is cut from a single piece of suede, waist length, it has knitted cuffs and collar and two large external pockets. The Valstarino design was developed from a US Air Force military jacket. Each year the Valstar garments are reinvented and the fit is adapted to the latest fashion but they still use, among others, waterproof garments leather, Loro Piana storm system fabrics, British Millerain textile and English Harris Tweed coupled with technical membranes as well as thermo taped.
