Valley Surgery Centre Information

Valley Surgery Centre is a 4,000 square foot multispecialty surgical facility conveniently located in the Surrey Board of Trade building at 14439 - 104th Avenue in Surrey, British Columbia, close to the #1 Highway and Port Mann Bridge. Constructed in 1999, the facility has two fully-equipped operating rooms, full general anesthesia capability, and the ability to offer 24-hour recovery care. Since opening its doors, Valley Surgery Centre has received the highest level of facility accreditation from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia for maintaining College standards of personnel, equipment, and policies and procedures. Our team of skilled surgeons perform a wide range of day surgeries that include cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, eye surgery and urologic surgery. As well as private-pay procedures, we provide services to injured workers insured by WorkSafeBC (the Workers' Compensation Board of BC), RCMP and other agencies. Over 1000 procedures are performed annually. Valley Surgery Centre is owned by certified surgeons who practice at the centre, and is managed by medical and business professionals. Our director of anesthesia oversees a talented group of anesthesiologists who maintain the highest level of ambulatory general and regional anesthesia safety and comfort for our patients. Each of these professionals has many years of experience, is a member of the Royal College, and continues to maintain active privileges at local hospitals. The centre is staffed by registered nurses, fully qualified in operating room and recovery room techniques. A high level of sterilization standards is maintained by our nursing and central sterilization staff. Patients are cared for with compassion and attentiveness from the time they arrive at the centre until they receive their follow-up call after surgery.
