Valley Press is an independent literary publishing house based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, UK. We publish poetry, fiction and non-fiction in paperback and ebook formats. The first books with the Valley Press name appeared in October 2008, and we now have more than fifty in print. Valley Press books have been praised by Alan Bennett, Carol Ann Duffy, Simon Armitage, Sean O’Brien and Dame Judi Dench, and are promoted internationally and to some 700 British bookshops by the sales agency Inpress. In February 2012, Valley Press was ‘highly commended’ in the Lloyds TSB Enterprise Awards, marking the business as one of the top thirty graduate enterprises in the UK.
