Valipac Information

Since '98, Belgian companies have legal obligations towards both prevention and management of industrial packaging waste. Valipac is a non-profit organization established to fulfill these obligations on behalf of its clients and to stimulate the recycling of industrial packaging waste. We gather the proofs of recycling and recovery on a collective, global basis: • on the one hand, from the declarations of our 7.200 customers (companies responsible for packaging) regarding the amount of industrial packaging they have put onto the market • on the other hand from the data we gather from the collecting companies about the industrial packaging waste they have collected and recycled or recovered. The recycling of packaging waste is more efficient if it is properly sorted at source. This is why Valipac provides financial support to companies which make the effort to sort their packaging waste. By achieving the high recycling goals set by the Belgian authorities, we contribute to an environmentally and economically sustainable solution.
