Valhalla is "The" Football Franchise in the Ultimate Franchise Fantasy Sports (UFF Sports) Eco-System, playing in the American Football Legends League (AFLL). This league pits human coaches (Officers In Charge) head to head in a gaming environment utilizing the legends of the NFL (Warriors). Valhalla is 100% owned and operated with the Military and Veteran community in mind and with a passion for giving back. Valhalla is 100% Veteran Owned. Valhalla Veteran Ownership intends to give Valhalla back to the community by offering ownership in the team strictly to the Military and Veteran community. Revenues generated by Valhalla will go directly to Nonprofit Veteran Service Organizations that support the community and to its Military and Veteran shareholders! Why Valhalla? Our Veteran Owner has a passion for Norse mythology based on his heritage and his Warrior tribe. According to Viking mythology, when a warrior fell on the battlefield, he was greeted by a valkyrie—a supernatural, female figure. Mythical valkyries led slain heroes (the einherjar) from the battlefield to Odin’s magnificent hall. Built of weapons and armor, Valhalla was the promised land of a Viking warrior. This impending fight was the cataclysmic battle at Ragnarok, a mythological event the Vikings’ believed would one day occur. “Ragnarok is like Armageddon, the battle at the end of the world,” Shippey writes. “In it the gods and their human allies will march out to fight against the frost giants and the fire giants, the trolls and the monsters.’’ In Valhalla, his einherjar train for the event by engaging daily battles. As detailed in the Edda, those slain in these battles were soon resurrected. For a Viking warrior, the battles at Valhalla allowed him to continue his earthly career into the afterlife, preparing for the fateful day when he would fight alongside the war-god Odin. Valhalla is a tribute to Warriors everywhere!
