Michael Miller was born in the spring of 1999. The brainchild of Michael Steiner and Kathy Miller. Two parents brought together not by love and marriage but solely by professional respect for each others' abilities. By leveraging their lives for an SBA loan, borrowing money from family and living on credit cards, Michael and Kathy were able to give birth to a start-up fabric company called "Michael Miller Fabrics". As time went on the company grew to a team of around 20 people and moved to a "home" of its own at 118 West 22nd street in New York City. This dedicated and enthusiastic group are committed to expanding with a product that stands out in the industry, while at the same time closely tending to the needs of the customers we hope to inspire.

Clothworks is a designer driven cotton manufacturer specializing in a diverse range of designs, styles, themes, and colors that appeal to a multitude of quilters. We feature fabrics designed for us by well-known artists within and outside of the quilting industry. We are known for our fresh, fun look and superlative customer service. As a wholesaler, shops are our main customer and we do everything in our power to make our shops happy--that means producing the highest quality fabric with stunning designs and we bring it to their door on time with a smile.
