The Vaccine & Gene Therapy Institute of Florida (VGTI Florida) is a non-profit research institution dedicated to the study of the human immune system and its function in disease. VGTI Florida’s mission of “Translating Research Into Health” directs our focus to the development of new vaccines and immunotherapies to boost the immune response to infectious disease and cancer. Of particular interest is the understanding of the age-related immune response to pathogens and the appearance of cancer in advancing age. We are in an expansion phase recruiting leading scientists from around the world to join VGTI Florida where they can work side-by-side targeting infectious disease, cancer, and the functioning of the aging immune system.
