v2track combines asset tracking hardware with a comprehensive web based tracking system to allow vehicles, boats, and aircraft to be tracked from anywhere in the world. The v2track GPS Tracking System leverages economical position updates when in cellular coverage and the reliability of global Iridium Satellite coverage via Short Burst Data on the Iridium Satellite Network when cellular coverage is not available. The frequency of the data reporting is customizable to accommodate the client’s needs and budget. The system offers a comprehensive two-way messaging system that can route messages between trackers , the website , smart phones, and to selected emails. The v2track can simultaneously track multiple assets and multiple types of assets on the web-based tracking system. The asset’s positions, complete with additional overlay information such as weather radar and POI markers, provide fleet managers a unique real-time insight of what is happening in their fleet. The hardware is available as a portable battery powered unit or as a fully installed wired-in unit which provides additional reliability, security, provides the ability to utilize the additional sensors and other connectivity features available.
