Founded in 1636, Harvard is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. The official flagship Harvard social media channels are maintained by Harvard Public Affairs and Communications and aim to provide access to the people, places, events, news and research at our Institution. The International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA), a United States 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization associated with the Department of Global Communications of the United Nations, is dedicated to promoting global issues education through simulation. Since 1975, IMUNA has hosted premier education-based conferences in numerous cities throughout the world. IMUNA conferences teach students to cultivate excellent communication and decision making skills by leveraging the power of compromise, consensus, and cooperation for effective negotiations.

Yale Model United Nations is a four-day international relations simulation for over 2000 high school students, typically held on Yale University’s campus in New Haven. At YMUN, delegates from all over the world interact with one another through debate and diplomacy to solve complex challenges facing the world today. At virtual YMUN, delegates will have the same opportunity to take on roles of UN representatives, policymakers, and important figures at our virtual conference and learn about the inner workings of global politics and problem-solving. By engaging in topics concerning international and national security, political and economic development, human rights, sustainability, and more, delegates learn to navigate the intricacies of international negotiation and teamwork, adopt new perspectives, and develop comprehensive resolutions on pressing global issues.
