The purpose of the society is to officially represent all students from the Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The society achieves and promotes the common interests, developments and success of its members. MCSS encourages a social, academic and career related support system among students and undergraduate students and faculty, as well as maintains communication between students themselves. Furthermore, the society encourages faculty and student interaction outside of the formal lecture, tutorial and lab setting.
